Our guide told us that we should make sure that the babies looked healthy when we gave them a bath, so Gabby and I gave June a bath while John got the paperwork around that needed to be done tonight. With the exception of a few bug bites she looked good. Her head is slightly misshapen, but I've heard that it is quite common with orphanage babies.

Back At The Hotel
The first thing that we did when we arrived at the hotel is change June's diaper. She was a little stinky, but not outwardly wet. We had heard from the person who did our homestudy that it might not be polite to change the babies when the nannies are still there. I couldn't remember if this meant the diaper or just the clothes, so we didn't take a chance of offending anyone. Some of the other families did change their babies, but John and I waited to be safe.
