After getting all of the official business out of the way, we spent a little time shopping. We were given the right formula and cereal by our travel guide. John had a fool proof way to make sure that we got the right stuff at the store. Just take a picture and take the camera with you. It would have worked like a charm except the local store doesn't carry the formula. We had to buy another one and are slowly adding it to June's current formula to switch her over.
When I was a kid, my mother used to get tired of everyone, especially my dad, eating goodies that she had specially purchased for herself. So she started labeling her things with a marker, "Mine". My mother's name is Darla. A couple of years ago, when John was in Japan, he found this chocolate bar called Dars. So, for fun he started bringing my mother these candy bars. Well, at our trip to the grocery store here we found a candy bar just for me.
The night we got Junie, John made a rush trip to the grocery store to pick up last minute things that we needed. I had mentioned that it would be easier to carry June with a carrier and he found this one. It is very comfortable. We had thought of getting a stroller and still might, but with stairs everywhere, sometimes using a stroller is difficult. Also, the guide recommended that we not use a stroller for at least three to four days so that the babies could get as much holding time, to bond, as possible.
One of the other things that we purchased today was a swimsuit for Junie. This hotel has the most wonderful pool area.
