Today we went to do the final adoption paperwork for China. We answered a couple of questions, signed a couple of papers, gave the officials gifts and they said, "Congratulations, she's yours forever." Now we have to apply for a passport for Junie and do the US paperwork at the Consulate.
On our way to the government offices, our guide gave us a quick Chinese lesson on how to say hello, thank you and a couple of other words. We already knew a bit from John, but it is good to get lessons from someone who speaks Chinese. They guide also gave us a piece of paper that has a couple of phrases in English and Chinese that explain to people that our baby is adopted.

I can't believe it. Everyone is so excited, we almost feel like its happening to us too. We are so happy for the four of you. A picture says a thousand words. Hope the weather is good there. Surpise surprise its raining and cold here. Can't wait for you to get back to the states.
